Hello. Slope is definitely cognate with Romanian , Prislop'(high altitude pass in a shape of a saddle) It might be infiltrated into English from those Dacian cohorts brought to Britannia by the Romans to work on Hadrian's wall. —This unsigned comment was added by Coni Prislop (talk • contribs) 03:19, 11 February 2022 (UTC).
