Format change

Can the format tag be removed? PiRSquared17 (talk) 19:19, 25 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

There are two problems. The first is that when defining verbs, you should generally put them in the frame If you/something VERB, (e.g., If you swap something for something else, you...). They should not be infinitive (i.e., to swap). Secondly, the example for the noun uses the word without exemplifying it. Something like Toronto got the park in a land swap with Mississauga exemplifies both the meaning and use of swap.--Brett (talk) 13:25, 26 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
One more thing: each verb sense should be marked as transitive, intransitive or both. The use of the verb in the definition should reflect that.--Brett (talk) 15:02, 26 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
