Summary

Children of the English "genteel" classes dancing outdoors, ca. the beginning of the 1820s. Note the contrast between their clothes and that of Image:1778-Bourgeois-daughter-fashion.jpg a little over forty years before. These clothes, unlike those of 1778, don't really restrict the children's mobility, except that the girls' skirts are a little long (however, shorter skirts with pantalettes were also worn by girls, as seen in Image:Confectioners-pantalettes-1810s-woodcut.png or Image:La Maréchale Lannes et ses cinq enfants.jpg). The boys are wearing "skeleton suits".
