Date Adopted on January 17, 1777. The seal was updated in 1793, 1847, and 1907. It was updated again in 2004 to change the dates listed to 1704, 1776 and 1787 (the orginal dates were 1793, 1847, and 1907 signifying updates to the seal).[1]
