I'm thinking this and folks should be formatted as {{noun|folk|folk|folks}}. Since it's countable, doesn't that mean it has a singular and plural form? · Tygrrr... 19:32, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- But there's no singular. You can't say folk is ... or the folk is.--Brett 23:43, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
- So then isn't it uncountable? · Tygrrr... 02:08, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- Uncountables are singular only, for example water is, not *water are. Compare that to folk where folk are works, but not *folk is.--Brett 11:40, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- I still disagree with marking it as countable, though, since it can't be singular and plural. How about switching {{countable}} to {{pluralonly}}? · Tygrrr... 15:11, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
