Talk:tapioca

Tapioca, like almost any noun, can be used to modify other nouns; that doesn't make it an adjective. It can't be used predictively or modified by adverbs (in particular very, too, or so), as adjectives typically can (e.g., *That pudding is quite tapioca.) It can't be graded either.
