A sandbox is a page that is used to do test changes and learning how to change pages on Wiktionary. Instead of doing test changes on the actual entry pages, a sandbox allows a user to do test changes without affecting the actual entries and readers would not be confused by incorrect information when looking up entries on Wiktionary.

Please note, however, that doing test changes on a sandbox is only temporary and will be removed in the future.

List of sandboxes

There are two types of sandboxes on Wiktionary:

• Wiktionary:Sandbox - A general sandbox for everyone to use.
• Special:MyPage/sandbox - A personal sandbox for yourself to use.

Note

This page is also a sandbox! This page is used to test out the designing of the help pages on Wiktionary. However, please do not use this page to do your test changes as the page is very complex for a new user to use.
