Welcome

Hi, thanks for your edits here! Could you explain the principle on which you're choosing to link words? It seems rather indiscriminate.--Brett (talk) 17:25, 28 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I was adding links to words that

  • The readers may be interested but not linked yet,
  • Words that are NOT prepositions or conjunctions (such as "at", "to", "for" etc.)

I have chosen pages with less revisions or dead ends that must be updated with more links. Does this explanation make sense to you ? MathXplore (talk) 03:21, 29 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the explanation! I'd say it's awfully hard to anticipate what folks will be interested in. Generally, what has been linked to in the past is words in the definitions that might give readers of the SIMPLE English Wiktionary difficulty. As much as possible, low-frequency words should be avoided, but sometimes it's very challenging to find a way around them. In such cases, we've linked them so that, should a reader run across an unfamiliar word in an explanation, all they need to do is to click on it. I would gently encourage you to follow this practice.--Brett (talk) 10:49, 29 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Plurals can just be created with User:Conrad.Irwin/creation.js. Happy editing here :) --Ferien (talk) 07:31, 15 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
